Over 250,000 girls were arrested in 2013 according to FBI records. This briefing will focus on strategies to improve the quality of life for these girls including building trust, improving education, ensuring good representation and changing how we view girls who have experienced trauma. Panelists will also discuss the role of good data towards improving outcomes and conditions for girls in the incarceration system.
