Health Care Reform Town Hall
The Affordable Care Act provides health insurance coverage to 32 million uninsured Americans (https://www.wh.gov/) and is reducing fraud and health care costs while creating jobs across our nation. California needs to lead the way towards full implementation of the Affordable Care Act.
But some here in Congress are working hard to repeal Health Care Reform, end Medicare, and put insurance company bureaucrats back in charge of healthcare—letting insurers decided what tests and treatment people get.
These efforts will directly affect our community back home, and it’s important that I hear from you. So please, join the 33rd Congressional Council Sunday, August 14th from 3 to 5pm at the University of Southern California’s Seely G. Mudd Building, Room 123. Parking is available in Parking Structure A located on Vermont Ave.
We’ll learn how the Affordable Care Act benefits you, share your concerns and experiences, and get the facts you need to defend your right to affordable health care.
