African Ambassadors’ Group AGOA Report
H.E. Ambassador Somduth Soborun

A year ago, Congress successfully voted to extend the fabric provision within AGOA and save hundreds of thousands of African jobs. In lead up to this year’s AGOA Forum – scheduled for August 10, 2013 – this policy breakfast hosts government- and private-sector experts focused on expanding U.S.-Africa trade and investment opportunities. Join us as we discuss current and future efforts to expand business involvement throughout Africa and what new possibilities are on the horizon for AGOA. Discussion will also cover President Obama’s recent visit to Africa and some of the new initiatives announced.
