In the face of heightened competition in Africa from countries including Malaysia, China, India, Russia, Brazil, and Turkey, the U.S. government’s trade and investment agencies are working to “level the playing field” for U.S. businesses currently operating throughout Africa.  Panelists will speak about their agency’s respective roles assisting and promoting the U.S. private sector and opportunities to do business in Africa.  Panelists will also share their perspectives on what more needs to be done to expand investment in Africa.
