Prevent Senior Scams: Experts & Resources to Protect Older Adults and Families

Please join Rep. Karen Bass, Insurance Commissioner Dave Jones and the newly-elected California Assemblymember Sydney Kamlager on Saturday, May 5th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Holman United Methodist Church for my “Prevent Senior Scams: Experts & Resources to Protect Older Adults and Families” meeting.
 
After visiting neighborhoods all across the 37th Congressional District, it has come to our attention that our seniors are being impacted by predatory loans, fraudulent independent contractors, and robocalls. In response, Rep. Bass introduced a resolution in Washington recognizing the severity and prevalence of these scams. This upcoming meeting will be an opportunity to learn about what our government counterparts and nonprofit organizations are doing to prevent senior scams.
